Great taste. It tastes just like regular coffee, maybe just a little more earthy. I am a bit of a coffee snob and was able to switch over to this product from my pure coffee very easily.

Normal coffee somtimes is too strong for me, so it is a very healthy and functional option for me. a bit expensive but worth the price considering its health benefits.

I'm new to brewing and drinking Defend mushroom coffee. I do like the medium roast for a change compared to the dark roast of Think mushroom coffee.

I usually drink the “Think” Lion’s Mane coffee, but tried this one during the winter months. I am not sure it it really boosted my immune system, but I did not get one cold the whole season, so it may have been a contributing factor. Following the directions on the pack makes a bitter coffee, but using one heaping tablespoon or a little more than half what the directions say, makes a good strong coffee. Using less per cup makes it more economical, which is a bonus since it is a bit more expensive than the average coffee. I make a cold brew using a large coffee filter. I add about three tablespoons of coffee and staple it shut making something like a “coffee bag” instead of a tea bag and refrigerate overnight. This makes clean-up much easier than traditional cold brew coffee. There is about 8 hours difference between the two photos.

I brought this mushroom ground coffee to try for the health benefits they claimed…taste ok but I don’t notice any change of my digestive system…a bit pricey too.

Besides its adaptogenic properties, this is just a great coffee. The taste is rather full-bodied for a medium roast (I brew in a french press) and earthy. I don't taste the mushroom blend at all, but I know I can rest assured that I can still reap the benefits of it despite!
